Viscosity effects from Exilva® give great spray patterns.
Bulletin: Spraying of emulsions with Exilva
To demonstrate the shear thinning behaviour of Exilva in a cosmetic product, sun sprays (O/W emulsion) with and without Exilva were compared such that the resulting viscosity and the non-dripping effect of the spray are visualised.
Tests have shown that the spray pattern performance of a sun spray (O/W emulsion) with Exilva is better than the reference without Exilva. Exilva increases the viscosity of the product as well as allows for a non-dripping effect due to the fast viscosity recovery imparted by Exilva.
