The evaluations compared the performance of CMC with BioKeram T.
Despite the greater increase in productivity with CMC, the test samples showed undesirably jagged edges. Addition of CMC increased the Nosova index. Therefore, substantial shrinkage is expected during the drying process.
BioKeram T scored better overall in the extrusion indicators. It increased plasticity, green and dry mechanical strength and productivity. It decreased the Nosova index, resulting in a reduction, or even elimination of cracks from the drying process.
