A Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) comparison conducted by NORSUS* on Dustex® vs magnesium chloride and calcium chloride for dust suppression of gravel roads concluded that Dustex is the most sustainable alternative. 

By replacing magnesium or calcium chloride with Dustex, the CO2 footprint can be reduced by more than 55%.
