for reducing water absroption of coatings.
Exilva® is a next-generation, 100% bio-based, EU Ecolabel-compliant, VOC- and silicone-free additive designed to significantly reduce water absorption in paints and coatings while maintaining vapor permeability, adhesion, and recoatability.
Its patented technology reduces the water uptake by mechanically restricting the swelling of the coating without forming a hydrophobic barrier.
