Demonstrations at our laboratory show the performance of BorreGYP in gypsum board. We used a gypsum slurry commonly used in gypsum board manufacturing for this work.
BorreGYP: Performance in Gypsum Board
Using BorreGYP as a water reducer in gypsum can influence all parameters: initial flow (see figure below), workability, setting time, compressive strength development and improved adhesion to paper. The effect depends on the dosage. A typical range is 0.1 to 0.5% solids by weight of gypsum (sbwg).
