Lignin-based additives for gypsum board - an alternative to PNS

Borregaard supplies lignin‑based additives for gypsum board production, supporting producers that are evaluating alternatives to conventional PNS‑based fluidisers.

Our products are used to improve slurry flow, water reduction and process stability, while supporting the production of no‑added‑formaldehyde plasterboards and reducing reliance on fossil‑based chemistry.

We offer both standard‑grade and superior‑grade lignosulfonates, suitable for gypsum board production with natural, synthetic and recycled gypsum.
