Exilva: Performance as Yield Stress Enhancer
Demonstrations at our concrete laboratory show the performance of Exilva® as a yield stress enhancer in concrete. We used a typical mix design for a standard mortar to simulate concrete performance.
Using Exilva as a viscosity modifying agent (VMA) in mortar and concrete can improve viscosity significantly without making the concrete or mortar sticky. The viscosity effect depends on dosage. A typical range of active Exilva dosage is 0.25% to 5% liquid by weight of cement.
