Vanisperse® HT-1 is a sustainable organic lead battery expander. Derived from Norway Spruce lignin, it is known for significantly increasing the life of the negative electrode under high-temperature conditions for both shallow and deep cycles.

Vanisperse HT-1 is particularly effective in under hood automotive applications where high temperatures can affect the life of flooded cell batteries.

When formulated in combination with carbon black and barium sulfate and incorporated in the negative lead oxide matrix, Vanisperse HT-1 enables batteries with extended life when higher temperatures can otherwise be detrimental.
